Meet other members of Portland's passionate waste-reduction community. Across all sectors - government, business, community orgs, and individuals. We'll learn about upcoming legislative efforts to reduce waste and honor the work of Senator Janeen Sollman. There will be ample time for networking and collaborative brainstorming.

Legislative Topics Will Include:

- A bill to strengthen the bag ban and phasing out single use toiletries in hotels- Presented by Tara Brock of Oceana
- Celebrating the Recycling Modernization Act - Presented by Nicole Portley of Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Kim Holmes of the Circular Action Alliance
- Foodwaste - Uniform date labeling and commercial organics diversion -Presented by Brenna Stevens of OSPIRG
- A bill to install microfiber filters in new washing machines- Presented by Anja Brandon of Ocean Conservancy
