Calling Witches, Wizards, Mages, and Sorcerers: no matter your magical craft, you’ve got to accessorize! SCRAP is excited to offer this spooktacular special sewing workshop!

Prerequisite: Students must be familiar with operating a sewing machine. Students are expected to know how to wind and load bobbins, thread machines, troubleshoot a jam, and are familiar with terms like "back stitch" and "seam allowance."

Sew with SCRAP: Custom Witch Hats!

Join SCRAP’s resident stitcher (stitch-witch?) Kate for this five-hour workshop where you’ll:

  • Customize a pattern for your measurements, and dream hat scale. Big brim? Short peak? You decide!

  • Choose from a wide array of fabrics.

  • Work with interfacing & stabilizer

  • Construct a classic witch hat with a wired or floppy brim.

  • Add patches, trimmings, ribbons and more to make your hat your own!

For $60, you'll get 5 hours of hands-on instruction (at $10 an hour, + $10 in materials)!

  • $110 Dynamic Duo (2 People)  - Share with a friend, save a few dollars!

All tools and materials provided | Ages 16+ (parents must purchase for their children)
Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machines.
