Have a lamp that needs repaired? Ready to DIY?

Repair PDX and the ReBuilding Center are hosting a basic lamp repair workshop where you'll learn the basics of lamp repair including how to troubleshoot, diagnose and rewire a basic lamp.

You can bring your own lamp to repair* or use the practice lamps provided in class. All leftover repaired lamps will be donated to Community Warehouse after the workshop.

Instructors from Repair PDX will cover these topics:

• The basics of electricity

• Safety when working with electricity

• Using wire stripping tools effectively

• The parts and techniques necessary to rewire a lamp

(*Please bring table or floor lamps only. This class is not intended to repair ceiling or wall-mounted light fixtures.)
