Find Your Farmer at the virtual CSA Share Fair!

Get ready for a week-long series of community supported agriculture events, February 21-27, 2021.

The week begins with an interactive discussion with CSA farmers to learn how CSA works, why it benefits your health and the climate, and what it means to be part of your community food system.

Share Fair is an annual event where you can learn all about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), including what it is, why it’s important to our health, environment and a thriving local economy, and how to find the right CSA farm for your household.

This year’s Share Fair features include:

  • Cooking demos with local chefs Katherine Deumling of Cook With What You Have, and Diane Lam of Sunshine Noodles: pantry preparedness, how to make vegetable lovers out of everyone at your table, climate change implications in farming and food waste.

  • Farmer panels: A CSA Overview, Connections Between Environment and People, and The Role Animals Play in Agriculture, Justice, and Access: Who Gets To Farm.

  • CSA Matchmaking: aiming to answer the larger questions of “Why CSA?” and “How do I find the best match farm for me?” Virtual breakouts with farmers to discuss farming approach, and answer questions.
