Regional repair is taking place in the Portland Metro area. Join the next Westside Repair Fair at Hillsboro Public Library on Saturday, June 18.
Repair Fairs are free community events where skilled volunteers help people repair household items. The types of repairs that take place depend on the team of volunteers we have for the event day. Generally, attendees can bring the following for repair:
- small appliances
- electronics
- clothing
- jewelry
- computers
- bikes
- decor
- small furniture
When one of our fixer volunteers is ready for your item, you will be directed to their table. Please stay with your item. One of the great things about Repair Fairs is that folks can learn how to go about troubleshooting or even repairing items just by talking with the clever fixer volunteers.
