Inspiration often arrives in unexpected packages. See how five local artists transformed an unpredictable stream of trash from the Metro Central transfer station into art.
The 2016 GLEAN recycled art exhibit opening reception is Thursday, August 11. Now in its sixth year, the show features trash transformed into works of art by five local artists - Erinn Kathryn, Hilary Pfeiffer, Dan Pillers, Amanda Triplett and Austin Turley.
The GLEAN exhibit challenges ideas about waste and brings attention to the issue of excessive waste generation and why we should care about it. The exhibition runs from August 11 through August 27, 2016.
