The ReBuilding Center is offering basic carpentry classes built for beginners. Get comfortable with common tools and materials, and take home your final project - a custom table or bench.

All classes focus on a hands-on project using a very simple design and reclaimed wood from The ReBuilding Center. You’ll gain experience with both hand and power tools that you may already have, that are inexpensive to purchase, or that can be borrowed from a neighbor, friend or one of Portland's tool lending libraries.

All fees over the minimum amount will support the growth of education programming at The ReBuilding Center, including a scholarship fund. Please consider paying more to pay it forward!
